We woke to a phone call at 6:30 in the morning on Monday August 15th. All I could hear was Skyler's side of the conversation which sounded something like this "Wow"..."WOW!" Needless to say I was quite curious. Our landlord had called to say that it was dark when he left for work but he could see that a tree had fallen on our car. We rushed outside to see the damage. All we could do was laugh and repeat Skyler's words from the phone call. Savvy said it best when she saw it, "Uh oh, tree!"
Luckily our insurance company, GEICO, was very helpful and generous so we were able to get the damage assessed and the settlement money quickly enough to buy a car on Friday. Thank you GEICO, we will continue to laugh and love your commercials!
Goodbye dear Mazda. We appreciated your gracious service to us and Skyler still misses you ;)
