In Cleveland we stayed at Bridi and Jason's. Sadly we barely missed the entire family, but Skyler was able to stay up late and enjoy chatting with Jason! Thanks again!
In Chicago we stayed with our good friends Ben and Lexi Jones. We always have a great time with them! We were able to gawk over their new house and they had a little taste of life with a newborn. It was great to spend time with good friends and see what life as a real adult might be like someday :)

We decided last minute to visit Winter Quarters. My grandparents served a mission there about 8 years ago so it was especially nice for me to see where they had been. It also happened to be one of the few church history sites that neither Skyler or I had ever visited. We had a great time on the tour as Savannah just snuggled with me as we walked around. The older Elder that gave us the tour was especially proud to be giving the tour to a 3 week old baby and brand new parents. I think the tour was only supposed to be maximum 45 mins, but it ended up being about 1.5 hrs. He was super sweet and made it worth the stop! To make it extra special we were able to find pictures of my grandparents in the mission scrapbook. Now we get to show them our pictures from our visit!

It sure makes long trips a lot better when you can make lots of stops along the way! We're excited to see you soon!
